Recently, the other night in fact while in chat, I put my Mercy Dante figure back together. Like many at the time, I was stupid enough not to but her when she was released , but luckily, thanks to a member who is no longer active on ammo, I was able to get Mercy's head, so I bashed my own version. I tried to keep mine as close as I could to the original, but again, finding her original kit is not easy or cheap! . So I looked for alternatives, which I think on the whole, turned out pretty well. I do have a jacket for her, but not in this shoot. Enjoy the pics!
While doing these pics, I thought it would be a great time to show off my home made rock wall . This time I set Mercy against the background I recently made. The whole thing is made from a hard board base, with heavily soaked cardboard pushed into rock shapes, then allowed to dry. Using hot glue, I then attached the rock shapes to the hard board and covered in paper mache. After drying, I then painted it brown using acrylic paint. Once dry I dry brushed a lighter brown across the top and covered it in certain areas with green flock. I think it came out pretty good.
