Action Man is out walking with his friend out in the hills. Action Man’s friend is taking the lead of Action Man’s robotic dog “Alloy”. They are looking at an 2500 year old iron-age fort on top of Dumglow Hill.
SUDDENLY one of Gangrene’s black robots appear out of no where right in front of them with its pistol pointing at them.
Action Man dives for cover while Alloy prepares to launch his missile.
The missile streaks towards its target.
DIRECT HIT the robot EXPLODES!!!
Pictures done by Ivan and set up by dad & Ivan.
Unfortunately during the photo session some clown (Dad) tried to photo Bomb a picture. Dad doesn’t take it seriously enough.

Okay, this was pretty cool! Like, really cool!
First, how did they capture the missile in flight? Is it suspended on something? Or did they actually fire the missile while snapping photos, trying to capture the missile in mid-air?
Love the low angles! Gives a feeling like one is really there!
Just like Other Dave, who actually is really there! The "photo bomb" pic is great because it makes it appear that Other Dave is actually Action Man sized. Or that Action Man is actually full-scale human size.
I noticed that you used your "Ivan" figure... to represent Ivan!
This was great! You should see about getting another figure custom flocked to look more like Other Dave!

Thanks Gunner. It’s all thanks to dad and Ivan’s once a week going out in the fresh air walks that makes my AM going out and about.

Ivan and I wanted to show the missile flying towards the target and we were thinking of suspending it from a string, but there was a strong breeze. I noticed there was a clump of grass near the robot and placed the missile on the grass and it miraculously looked just right - pure luck.
It’s a full size picture of me in the background, using perspective to equate the sizes. Ivan and I have done a number of these but Alex NEVER SHOWS THEM. This time i threatened him that they’d be no more pictures unless that were published
BTW he’s refused to publish any more “way to die” pictures. We were enjoying doing those, but alas!

The "Ways to Die" posts were both entertaining and popular!
Clever solution for the rocket firing scene! It looks good!
I'd like to see more of the "in-scale" pics featuring both figures and humans.
