Maybe we should instigate an AMMO award for long-suffering spouses?

Great set of pics again , I would really like to add similar explosive and smoke effects to some pics some time , but buying such things to make it a reality here in the U.K is definitely a challenge ....
You can get photoshop elements , which is far cheaper I believe than photoshop , if your P.C can run older versions it will cost you even less . I am a fairly knowledgeable photographer and it does more than I need .
Terrific Chip...will deffo check this out. I have a Macbook pro so hopefully will be able to use package.

Thanks Dean.. its great fun.
The baddies are Dragonian redclaws..aka Max Steels kitted out in Red Devil jump suits ( I hand a big slack handful of those after buying loads of VAM job lots when I first started collecting - or hoarding according to SWMBO )
I really like Max Steele figures.. apart from the blooming head sculpt !!
you can get a VAM beret on them.. Dragonian Black Beret troops...
Or use VAM pilot helmets ..
A[art from Gargon & Intruder VSAM never really had OPFOR ..Its quite fun building some enemy troops up

Looks like you're having great fun Steve !
It's really great to see you back storyboarding and adding new touches and developments into the mix.
By the by … a couple of old ex-Munrovians saw your recent activity on Dreadnought HQ radar and wanted to drop in to say hello.
Messrs. Clerkin and Drago send their regards as they were on garden perimeter patrol earlier this morning

Ok Dreadnought. This picture is so cool and looks like it could belong in a action movie.

Thanks folks For those not in the know, these two cool dudes were drafted into Dreadnought HQ some years ago thanks to the huge generosity of Gunner (Steve). Noel Clerkin as he named him, is the guy in black is a weapons /munitions specialist who serves as arms quartermaster to the squad.
Drago's (- a de-programmed Dragonian) primary interest in weaponry is firing 'em. He is a top notch marksman and has cleaned up many a messy situation at a single shot.
They are two of my collection's most valued members.

People are wont to deride Max Steel, but he has some of the best articulation of all the solid plastic figures.

Totally agree …I think he is effectively an improved BP .. it’s just a pity about the headsculpt..it’s his Quiff that’s the problem…but he makes a great doner body..especially for EE heads.
His face sculpt was improved a couple of times ,imho , to a more “action” look and it’s those I press into Dragonian service and use the Preppy ones for body swaps

I am in total agreement. I recently scored a four pack of Max Steel off eBay with the express purpose of using the bodies for their superior articulation. And yes, that quiff is a real problem if you want the figure to wear any sort of head gear. I am tempted to try dremelling it down on one of the spares.

I have long held a hankering to try that Barry. I have a couple of spare Max heads knocking around that I will try now my groove is slowly returning. Problem might be that the quiff is a hollow blow mold ? Oh well, only one way to find out...
Hey Steve, do you still have that 30th Anniversary AM with a missing scalp you got in a job lot a few years back?
It had some sort of filler or sealant in it. Did you ever operate on him?

Thanks my thought too Kev, ...that it will be hollow and you're left with a huge hole. If that be the case I will just pack it with air-hardening clay, (or epoxy) and re-sculpt. Max might look great with a new custom "do"?
