Brilliant! I loved the Planet of the Apes reference, though I wonder how many besides me will pick up on it. great control of light and excellent use of cheap background material to give the place a bizarre look.

Your posing is spot on , and no easy achievement , your starting to catch up with Dal on the variety of characters , and you know I love that camera kit . Good stuff Dave .

This is a ZCWO camera I got a while back: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254526258183
It is not the Bratz camera that has previously appeared in this story.
This camera includes several more parts and accessories that I did not attach for the story. It looks impressive when it is fully assembled. Unfortunately the tripod legs do not extend. Other than that, it's a nice piece. eBay prices are all over the map on these cameras, ranging from $40-something USD (none at that price at the moment) to over $100 USD. There seems to be no uniform description, either. Some call it a ZCWO camera. Some call it a Chaplin camera. Some call it a Bruce Lee camera. Some call it retro movie camera.

Gotta slip 'em in whenever we can, eh?

One of the greatest lines, and deliveries, in motion picture history!

I'm wondering that, myself! These stories kind of unfold on their own, and rarely follow the narrative path I have in mind when starting them.

I too find the exact same thing happens when ever I try to do a narrative. The thing seems to take on a life of its own and shoot off on quite unplanned tangents.
Serious question Dave. How long do you estimate this whole shoot and story took you to put into the form we see here?

That was excellent Dave! I know we chatted about how you thought there would be too much talking, but that was spot on. You covered a lot of ground, explained a few things and brought Leyland into league of his own! Really looking forward to the next installment!

I'm noticing that you posed quite a lot of figures in some of the shots, which from experience, is quite complicated.

Louis Ellie Claudia Tærra Gwendolyn Sally Deck Basil
Is that everybody? I guess that's eight figures. For the most part they were cooperative. Louis launched a domino effect a few times. I need to find him some sturdier boots. Most of the scenes were either the "Louis group" or the "Basil group," but the last segment included everybody, even if they aren't all visible in frame.

I would estimate close to 30 hours for everything, mostly done in 2 or 3 hour blocks spread out across three or four weeks.
