Another new addition.. Mark strong ..or big Jim in the USA Loved this as a kid ….I always had him play Tarzan for some reason…. He can really do much with his stiff arms but I didn’t care.. I remember having pitched battles on my bed with tanks , helicopter , motorbikes a dozen action man, and he would jump out in his pants 4” smaller than everyone else and kick all there asses.. Ahh the memories.. Glad to have finally got him back…

He does look good , think I had some of his stuff . Think he resembles the Steve Austin figure a bit . Like Dal ses you got a nice clean example of him . All you need now is some Leopard skin pants .....

Big Jim! Or... Big Jim's English cousin! There's a blast from the past! The Big Jim television advertisements were staples during cartoon shows when I was a kid!

I had a Big Jim too! Mine came in little red nylon shorts and if you pushed a panel on his back his arm moved....I think? Oh and there was this little band you could snap around his biceps and if you raised his forearm, his muscle would expand a break the band off! Sadly he must have gone the way of most childhood toys.....but I do wish I'd kept him.
He had a few mates, such as Big Josh etc. AND a magnificent 1/6 adventure 4xD! (Sometimes comes up on eBay.) I believe the same figure was marketed in other countries as "Mark Strong"?
Mine was the bloke in the box on the extreme left.

Barry…My original figure came in just his red shorts and my mum must have bought the karate outfit later.. This one still has his shorts under the trousers..He’s in good condition and his karate chop action still works , via a button on the back.. Never had any other of the line though….didn’t even know they existed until recently..

Our man was the lucky one. The plastic in his arms did NOT discolour. Check out his mates in the photo above! I think yours has lighter hair than I remember mine having.

I had Big Jim and Big Jeff as a child. My brother had Big Jack and Big Josh.
I had the jungle truck, it was really cool. Had a net on the front for capturing the included rhino.
