WHO'S THE BOSS ?

As per title, we're starting a thread here to showcase your alpha figure - who is the boss in your outfit ?

We are putting it here to open it up to all members, to offer them a chance to participate.

For some of you this will be easy, others may have to think about it.  

There are some Rules:

It can be a figure from any line, era etc.

It can be male or female, or something else if that's relevant to you.

It must be a figure that has significant importance to you, possibly above all others.

Give us a few pictures of your Boss with a short back story - How long you've had it, where you got it etc.

No need for the Old Testament here now people, keep it succinct.

REMEMBER - ONE FIGURE ONLY FOLKS - THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT !!!

Anybody breaching that rule will have any extraneous figures removed.

So come on, let's see who's BOSS !!!

Position: Commanding Officer, Scout Squadron 13 (The Lucky 13th): Commanding Officer, Fast Frigate “Inside Straight.”
Place of Birth: Yokohama, Japan, Terra Prime.  
Age: 35

Biography: Keiko Kobayashi, known simply as “Kobie” to her friends is a graduate of the Starfleet  academy and holds a master’s degree in astrophysics with a minor in biochemistry. This background made her a natural for the exploratory branch of the service and she served with distinction in several positions in the Terran fleet before having her career ruined as a result of the “Disappearing Planet Incident.”  Seeing her chances for further promotion dashed, she resigned her commission and accepted another in the Hydran Federation Fleet where she rose to command her own ship and eventually a squadron of ships.  She currently serves as commanding officer  of Squadron 13, a mix of old, surplus scout ships and corvettes, all of which have been heavily modified and up gunned for service in this remote area of space.  


Kobie is close friends with Captain Rochelle “Rocky” Jones, one of the skippers in her squadron, and relies on Rocky for missions that call brute force over brains.

The figure is a TBLeague S21 (suntan) body with a Super Duck head SDH002A.  The Helmet, harness, PLISS, gauntlet tops, weapon and holster are from an CY Girls Aurora figure. The boots are parted out from VERY COOL a female SS Officer, while the white gloves are from VS Toys. The bodysuit is from a Chinese dealer on ebay.

An interesting figure and a great backstory to Commander Kobayashi.
Clearly, a figure of great importance to your collection.
I really really like the  custom kit.
The SS female jack boots are absolutely killer! Well done.

The figure is done in a way to emulate the nonsensical but usually very sexy pulp cover depictions of female astronauts in the 1950's. Hence the jackboots, though not very realistic, go very well with the tight fitting space suit, which is equally unrealistic.

TOM K HQ Commander of course, sporting his best President Zelenskyy look, hugging HQ's huge teddy bear mascot... not a Russian bear though!

Tom K is my first and one and only childhood Action Man bought in 1970. He was a 2nd issue soldier and he had a buddy (next door neighbour) who was a first issue brown bearded adventurer. His favourite uniform was the German Stormtrooper. He survived in a broken state in a biscuit tin in my mum's loft until 2013. Since then he has had new hair, new eyebrows and a new body (Geyperman muscle body) and lives a life of self centred luxury, as you can see in the photo.

I'm guessing I need to drag out childhood beard guy for a photo! He has to be the boss as he's my favourite! I cant remember how he dressed but I'll take a pic as he is when I can!

He is the boss as he's my oldest and most favourite AM.

He looks like he’s been on quite a lot of adventures with you Ross when you were younger.

 Wait... whuuuut? Kobie is the Big Boss at K-Troop now? Does Kamiko know about this?

Epic sci-fi portraits!

Kimono Troop Command contains three separate HQ's. Each has their own big boss.

1. Kimono Troop: Lieutenant-Colonel Kamiko Takahara
2. Diablos HQ: (includes Stahltruppe) Dr. Diablos
3. Inside Straight: Captain Keiko (Kobie) Kobayashi

As we are limited to posting one figure, I chose to focus on "Inside Straight."
