Many thanks Dean! You are extremely kind . I have more stories in mind, they are just on hold at the moment. I use the same method for comics too, Dean! , Time consuming, but a great way to get the best results. Really looking forward to the next parts!
How did you make the dio so quickly ? It looks excellent , can we see some more of it , how big it is ect ? I am wishing maybe I went down the planks route and not the Ply sheets now on My Marine Hooch . The characters posing and lighting are all great , looking forward to the next part .

Hi chip Thanks for your kind words…. I will post “ making of “ photos when I’ve finished the 3 part saga I actually made the second part set first ( to come next). Then decided to expand the story to the “ hut set” And made a few bits for the 3rd part which will be photographed outside …. I suppose it’s taken probably a month and a half or so to make the two sets , the second part set took longer as is a bit bigger and decided to change it half way through….. I took a few photos whilst building so will post them forthwith….. Funny how ideas start , some one I did some work for had a couple of old pallets and asked if I wanted them, and instantly thought , they would make a great cabin….. Hence 99% of the two sets are made from those pallets….

The more you look at it , the more excellent details you see , the chairs , bookshelf ect , excellent craftmanship and great imagination .
Thanks chip…..the chairs are made from Costa coffee sticks, ( idea I nicked from someone else ), the books …I cut up old magazines. To action man size and painted the covers to look old….. I put a couple of little Easter egg finds in there …..don’t know if anyone has noticed …the cheating gambler….someone’s artwork on the wall, and escape officers I’d with his photo on …( terribly drawn by me )
Amazing work, Rustygun! What an awesome job of diorama building. Can't wait to see installments 2 and 3, as well as the "How it was built" installment. You're a real craftsman.
