Picked up this Shore Patrol Helmet today and skis...

Picked up this Vintage Shore Patrol Helmet today as I did not have one in my collection..
The other day I accidently broke one of my vintage ski patrol skis...
So had to pick up another set of skis...

I'm sorry to hear about the skis. But if that's a vintage SP helmet, you made a great score!
Those are hard to find.

Sorry to hear about the broken ski. Was it because the old plastic is getting brittle from age?

Or did you hit a hidden rock on a particularly treacherous Black Diamond run?

Well I'd like to say brittle but on a long run Gijoe hit a snow rabbit and spun out
of total control barely missing 3 trees by inches and after regaining a bit of control the
ski pole suddenly snapped spinning Gijoe into another tail spin of terror!
Well yea Brittle...

I hope a "snow rabbit" is not the same thing as a "ski bunny," or Joe won't be very popular at the lodge tonight.
