Sceriffo and David Crockett AKA Sheriff and Davy Crockett

Recently acquired a couple of sets I've been after for ages. Both were part of the Wild West range for Action Joe, Geyper Man, Action Team and the Italian GI Joe Polistil brand. Indeed Action Man was the only European GI Joe licensee not to include these sets in their catalogue. Previously these have either been ridiculously priced or in very tatty condition so I was really excited to nab them both at a reasonable price on Bay. Not only reasonably priced but mint on card too!

First up is the Davy Crockett set (or as the Italians would have it David Crockett). The boxed item...

The only tweak I made to this outfit was to replace the Lebel Pistol with the much more appropriate Colt (by Cotswold)...

I have the sherriff set fresh off the card and all i need now is a decent Davy Crockett set but as you say nice condition sets are very few and far between

Another longed for set has got to be the Action Joe Zorro

now that is a rare beauty

two very nice sets and a great addition to any collection !
