Who else is old enough to remember Aurora Monster kits?



I got the 'Glow in the Dark' version of the Wolfman for xmas 1971.

I'm certainly old enough, though I don't believe I ever bought one.

I only ever saw them in a comic store i used t visit in my teens. I gotta say though Steve, they look really cool!

Those are great looking kits

I never had one, but as a young lad I got a model kit as a gift. I don't remember if it was an Aurora kit,
it was a cro-magnon man, he held a spear looking down at a snake.

While I'm sure that for most VAM fans the term 'Secret Agents' brings these two to mind, there are, apparently other quite famous characters in the genre.

I mean...they are FANTASTIC!!!

Dick Tracy got really weird at some point and spent much of his time in space battling moon men or some such nonsense. That comic was a lot more weird than people think about on the surface.

Never built any of these kits, but always thought they looked cool.

The Jeckyll and Hyde, while probably one of the more boring, has a great concept there with the Jeckyll half choking himself to stop his Hyde half from taking the elixir. Fun stuff.
