Decided to give my Mike Power some new clothes to show off the atomic limbs. This is the shirt and shorts from the late 90s “Save the White Tiger” set.

Very cool Nate! Mike looks all ready for the summer! Have you considered some socks for him?

He looks good, nice to see that vintage and CC figures can interchange clothing. May I ask were you got his shoes, or something similar? My Atomic Man needs some.

The sneakers were in a trade with another collector. They are from the Mike Power “Secret Mountain Outpost” set.
I think these and the Action Man Olympian were the only vintage Hasbro running shoes back then. The Johnny Hero basic white shoes fit Joe feet too. The other option you could use is the white action man lace boots.
Johnny Hero shoes:
Lace white boots:
They would be huge, but you could also use the running shoes from the Six Million Dollar Man line.

I might look into something like that; but the original Mike Power didn’t wear socks with his sneakers.
Hard to find 1:6 socks that don’t come nearly up to his knees! Lol

Thanks Nate, but that was what I was afraid of. As far as I now, that set is the only source for those shoes. And that set is rare.
My younger brother had the figure when we were young, he put short black boots on him. I've been looking for a more athletic shoe, but what I've found are too small. you would think they would have included shoes for him as part of the original figure. I guess I will keep looking.

There are plenty of 1/6 scale male sneakers/trainers out there Daryl that would work. I would suggest something along these lines.

Another option might be the 21st century toys basic PT gear figures. They differ only in t-shirt and shorts combo. They wear sneakers that should fit Joe feet.
Funny enough I was a comics and collectibles show over the weekend and found a pair of sneakers that looked exactly like the Mike Power ones except they were scaled for Mego’s. The same factory in Hong Kong must been making all the stuff back in the 1970s.

Dal recommended I try to find Mike some socks; so here he is wearing a pair of sideshow American Civil War socks. I’ll try to roll them down so it looks less like he’s wearing a pair of compression socks.

Very cool Nate, he looks great. Have you tried folding them down instead of rolling them down? think its a big improvement personally .

I have some I got in accessory lots, but they are smaller. Seems more modern figures have smaller feet?

I personally think the pair of compression socks hide his cool bionic leg but that’s just my opinion.

Yes, vintage Joe has larger feet than most modern figures, aside possibly from 21st century toys ultimate soldier.

Gave Mike a Cotswold Boonie hat for some extra protection from the sun.

I think his new Boonie hat really suits him I think. I think he’s ether missing a rucksack or a side bag but just my suggestions.

I'm thinking more of a machete, his atomic arm would make quick work of jungle brush.

Daryl I’m really liking your thinking of atomic man using a machete because he sure would make quick work of jungle brush.

I couldn’t find a machete, but this Captain Action sword is a decent stand in.
I’ll try to find a rucksack, thought I had a spare one; but I know Cotswold makes a newer version I might get. I figured that Mike is on his way to enjoy some nature, so I gave him a cup of coffee and a 70s radio.

I'm loving the radio Nate. I read at The Trenches on FB that it winds up and the tape spindles spin? Out of curiosity where did you find the radio?

I bought it from a comic shop; probably 15 years ago. There were a few other ones in the series. This is what the card looked like:
