As an ex-Sub-Mariner himself (HMS Dreadnought VAM Sailor) Hank can appreciate the sleek, stylish lines of the 'Seaview' from TV's 'Voyage to the bottom of the sea'
Unfortunately such aesthetics are wasted on a mud-rolling grunt like Joe!
I loved the show as a kid and even almost gave Joe the surname 'Kowalski' after one of the main characters.
Nostalgia overload from this nice Aurora kit!

Is that an original Aurora kit from the 1960s-1970s, or a newer re-issue?
Did you construct this kit recently, or "back in the day?"
I, too, loved that show! It was everything I wanted to be "when I grew up." Alas, I never became a submarine adventurer. That said, I've never really grown up, either, so maybe there's still time.
(Although maybe not very much time; I actually remember the "Put a tiger in your tank" advertising slogan from TV commercials for ESSO gasoline (petrol). )

It's an original 1960's kit. I've been on a bit of an Aurora kick lately!

Great pics
Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. I also used to love Land of the Giants too.
