I was thinking of getting one of these, and after seeing Dal's I pulled the trigger and got one.
There are four depicting the military series from the '60's, Action Soldier, Action Marine, Action Sailor and Action Pilot.
I picked up the Action Soldier, infantry. The image online looked like he was in desert camo, so I was really pleased for him
to be in green camo. But there is something really interesting about this figure, depending on lighting he looks like either one at
any given time.
These figures have incredible articulation for their size. And this figure came with a ton of small stuff, and I was really surprised
that the holsters and chest rig is not molded on the body, they are actually separate pieces.
The figure has two heads and two pair of hands to make him white or black, and even a chain with dog tags. The poncho was on the figure
out of the box, the hood is plastic but can be switched out for a helmet.
The package has five pouches and a hand held radio, that can be positioned anywhere on the chest rig and belt. They have small pegs
on the back that can be put into the holes, and can be arranged anywhere you want to put them. A backpack attaches in the holes on
the back.
The figure has three weapons, a fifty cal. on a tripod, a S.A.W. gun and an AR 15. I haven't set up the fifty cal. yet.
I do have one concern about the figure, the elbow and knee joints are extremely tight and need to be worked in for better
posing. I believe I may have to heat the knee joints, the lower part doesn't seem to want to move and it feels like I'm
going to break it if I force it. But all in all I'm very pleased with this figure and I'm thinking of picking up the Action Marine next.
