Fantastic work Dean! It's not easy is it, getting away from building diorama's, plus it's a great way for defeating boredom . These pics look superb Dean.you're just to good at this to walk away from, you now .

Impressive level of realistic detail... and destruction!
Awesome lighting and shadows.
Is this a completely new build from scratch, or have you repurposed elements from your previous dioramas?

Thanks for the comments The internal set is all new …...all my other sets I burnt a while ago, when I decided I wasn’t going to do any more
A few bits like the chairs and boxes etc I kept and a couple of the weathered doors. The outside scene with the jeep , I had cut up all the grey building set and burnt it , but for some reason I kept a couple of bits in case I wanted to use the wood for something else , then mashed up a small section of building out of the bits I had ., I love the ww2 theme as you might have noticed I was watching bridge to far a couple of weeks ago, the bit where there getting shelled in a house and it’s gradually falling to bits , and i thought I could have a go at that, …..and all of a sudden I was out of retirement… The set only took me a couple of days to make and paint , also upgraded the jeep , to look like one from Arnhem .

I guess sometimes it's better to "press delete" and start over from scratch when interest and enthusiasm fails than it is to try to keep coming up with something new and exciting from the same old-same old. It would appear you are in better form than ever after your "reset."
