| Hi all, its been a long time since I have posted any 1/6 stuff as 1/1 stuff has been crazy lately. Anyway, had a bit of time this week and i have been asked by a few people to make some 1/6 terrain, dios etc so have been making these to get my hand in. I am still away from my shed and tools, so have been making do with site materials. Started off with celotex insulation offcuts, pva glue and polyfilla and knocked these up: Not much yet, but a lick of emulsion and acrylic paint, and they look a bit like this: Snowy mountain section Factory ruin section Wall section Desert signpost An idea of scale These are just prototypes ( you can see they are a bit wonky) , but they are fairly easy to make so if anyone has any requests, let me know Hope you like! | |

| Bumping an old topic as I look through diorama pics tonight:
Outstanding detail painting and weathering on these custom-sculpted dioramas. The darker dirt and water stains near the bases of walls. Rust running down from exposed iron rebar. Broken rusty pipes with shards littering the ground. What an eye for detail!
LeStryge might like to take a look at these pics. I believe it's the kind of detail work he has done in model railroad scale.
Is this member, zulu1, still active anywhere? Checking stats, it appears he's been away for quite a while (since mid-summer 2017). _________________ ... DAVE
