| Eventually found the time, and the courage to have a go at Flocking!! My first attempt was a disaster, I got the glue mix wrong and after flocking, it just all dripped off, plus I forgot to switch the flocking machine on! it was a complete nightmare!! The heads i've used are a 40th head and 2 Cotswold heads, as I didn't want to fudge up any of my VAM heads on this first go at flocking! Please let me know what you think, good or bad, I can take it lol Anyways first up, is a Brown flock head Bit long in places and it had to go for another flock, as it just didn't look right, infact I'm not too sure it doe's now! Next up is Black hair flock, this one I was happy with, it went on a lot easier Last one I did was a Grey hair flock, this one i really like. A group shot of the heads, i gave them a little clean, but want to leave them a while before I get all the loose fibers of them. Nowhere near as good as some on here and other sites, but i had loads of fun doing them, I will have a go at doing some more soon, as I want a few VAMS with White Hair. Hope you guy's like them!! Cheers PJ | |

| Subject: Second Attempt Thu Jul 18, 2013 3:55 pm | |
| Ok guy's here goe's!!! Below is my second attempt of flocking! I re-done the AA Head as I didn't get the glue right the first time around!! Had a little accident with the flocking machine, was cleaning it, and it still had a charge, let's say it made me jump and gave me a nasty shock!! I wont make that mistake again!! Anyways, I think they are getting better, let me know what you guy's think, good or bad Cheers PJ Up first is a Cotswold head This head is a 40th GI Joe, I left the paint on under his heard, to give it a tad more realism! I think lol This one I'm not quite sure where it came from, but it had a painted head, so I flocked it, and going to use it on my Jap This one is a Geyperman Head, Which was in a bad way! I need to tidy his face up a little and give him a paint job! The last one, was the AA Cotswold head from my first attempt, very happy with this one, so much infact I'm using it on one of my AT Guy's Cheers for looking guy's PJ | |

| Sorry, only just caught this thread. You're doing great Action Bob, that white flock has gone on well, I think it's one of the harder colours to get right. You only need to get a shock once _________________ Brian.

| Cheers Sparklebudgie, yeah the white was a tad awkward, i thought it was going to be easy, with the head colour, but i'm having loads of fun doing it, I saw a guy on ebay who has made Dioramas out of the 40th AM sports stands and has re flocked them with mud colour grass, and leaves and things, i'm thinking of trying that next!!!! should be fun Yep you make that mistake once, and what a shocking time it was Cheers pj | |

| Your right about the beard, need to practice the beard first i think, or i may just go straight in and do it, live dangerously ay!!! The Jap is a tad odd looking but I do like him, but i'm now going to have to call him your mother in law now, it's stuck in my head Yeah i'm happy with the results, not happy to do any in this hot weather though as the flock sticks everywhere I'm happy with the white hair and the AA black hair that i done, next step after beard is the blonde, i just know that's going to be a nightmare!!! Thanks for your kind words and support, it's very much appreciated In this heat I can't even keep the flocking up PJ | |
