'face, the new anti-hero, who'd'a thunk it?
Hey, one of those fellows in the tank crew looks suspicious to me, a little intrusive?
Keep the steam coming!

I like the design of the Adventure Team leaflet you put together. Fantastic close up shots of Steam Junk Noface – Airship Commander and his Timetock Manipulator .

Thanks for all the comments, Gentlemen - they are much appreciated!
That track was right up my alley, Bri! Not familiar with John hartford (I thought it was a bad pic of Cat Stevens!!!)
Love that country/acoustic/slide gee tar vibe! (I'm in love with Alison Krauss at the mo'!!!)

Hey Jim, I'm really glad you liked John Hartford. Sadly he passed a few years ago, but he was around for years and years kind of under the radar piloting steam powered riverboats and researching folk and string music all over the country.
Interestingly, he did a couple songs for the film Oh Brother, Where art Thou which is where I first heard of Alison Krauss (whom I now worship and adore )
I first heard of him way back in the 60's on the Glenn Campbell TV show. He was on the show a few times and wrote Glenn's hugh hit Gentle on my Mind
He wrote a lot of wacky songs too, but I'll stop now before I go all TMI on ya.

Oh, Bri - am I embarrassed now! Pardon my ignorance - the Man was a GIANT of country music!
'Gentle on my mind' is staple classic covered by the Who's who, of course, but watching the video there, I recognized Hartford straight away from a live concert film of the artists from 'O brother' performing at the Grand ol' Opry, I think.
Anyway, John was the 'Master of ceremonies' and it was clear even with my limited knowledge that all the artistes, held him in high regard. I do remember thinking he didn't look well, and vaguely remember something about it being one if not his final performance?
I need to dig out my soundtrack and scan the tracks! Top man, thanks for enlightening me with these golden nuggets, Bri!!!!

Steampunk. It so reminds me of 20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Good Movie.
