There exists 3 colors variations of the inside of Tommy Gunn busbies (black, beige and green), only black and beige pictured below. VAM one on the right

I don't have the chance to own a VAM Dress Marine so I'll have to compare this time to my 40th one.

To notice : lenght of the TG frog, size of the belt buckle, thinnes of trousers red strip, jacket's lenght.

Notice also that on both the Grenadier and the Royal Marine the Tommy Gunn outfits have the creases sewn into their trousers!

Also please on behalf of a friend who is a former Grenadier they are Bearskins not Busbies. Busbies are the little fur hats worn by the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery. Also he told me that the longer, narrower and slightly forward bending VAM bearskin is based on an officers model whereas the Tommy Gunn is more accurate for an Enlisted Mans Bearskin.

Can anybody show me the difference between VAM and TG rifles, please? I have a box full of old weapons and have no idea if any are TG! Also, I seem to remember an item on boots too - possibly from the AMHQ site? Can't find it now, of course! Thanks.

Here is a picture taken by another member on UAHMQ years ago (sorry, I don't remember who posted it initially).

Above Tommy gunn with pointed out difference + rougher painting ; below VAM with better painting.

If I haven't got ripped off when buying these, the cutlery above is Tommy Gunn, and below are VAM.
