Footlocker

Well, it's original!  It's a box!!!    



Looking at Rick's nifty mini Joe lockers reminded me about my AMan one.  It's in far from mint condition but it's one of my favorite pieces - Play worn sums it up!  Someone had a great time with it and that'll do for me and why I'm not going to re paint or restore although I will get around to cleaning up the lock and hinges.


All vintage bits and bobs - absolutely no chance of ever getting the GI Joe first edition 'Camouflage field telephone' that is depicted on the inside lid!!!!

That looks fantastic and I also agree - best not to repaint something like that. Some vintage things look better when they look vintage, if that makes sense! By the way, which is older - the footlocker or the old desk it's sat upon? We had a couple of those desk when I was young. I think some family member got them from the local school when they were replacing them with new ones. After a repair my two sisters and I had one each but they didn't last long enough for us to do any homework on them when we eventually went to high school!

You lucky jotter, Peter! My wife is BIG charity shop shopper!  She got the double desk from Age UK for £10 a few years back for our two children.  
They loved them when they were smaller and we still get loads of use out of it (not just for AMan photo opportunities!  )
