| Very nice figure!
All he needs now is a tall ship and a star to sail her by! _________________

| Looking good Cappy! A great face and flock.
This guy was the last club figure I got. Never bought the outfit in the end. He's ended up in a 40th Ski Patrol. _________________ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

| Cappy I'm really liking the look of your Man of the Sea, his outfit looks just right for sea trekking. _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| Nice figure! I had two of those and the flocking seemed to want to come off fairly easy on them both so be careful... Other than that great figure! | |

I can see in the photos that he has some loose hair...does it come out continuously? _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? Well, he lives life victoriously! | One of the Man of the Sea I had fell over and bumped his head while I was taking pics which peeled back some flocking on his forehead area. The other one I put in water for a photo shoot and 60% of the flocking peeled off... ) It was in water for about 3-5 minutes) I have done the same with reflocks and vintage original gijoes with no problems... So you just got to be careful with them.... - ActionMalph wrote:

| ...I know that GI Jake doesn't sound quite as cool, but am I right in thinking that the Cotswold figures and flocks are going to be a lot better quality. They do a nice ginga jake that looks pretty much the same...and a lot cheaper by all accounts... _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? | ...sounds like a flocking nightmare...I'm glad I read this before I spent hard earned cash. "Okay mum, yeah I know, never buy on impulse, always compare prices, check before you buy, dah, di, dah, di, dah, but she was right though!" Just got to sell on some 40th stuff now... I'm nervous now as I've just bought the Man of Asia outfit from Cotswold, I hope it lives up to my expectations otherwise it'll end up on eBay as well! _________________ RalphMe? | I also once had a grey haired Cotswold Jake... Flocking was fantastic! I put him under water many times and bumped him many times with no problems...
Man of Asia outfit is ok... I had Man of Asia and outfit...
I sold my entire Gi joe Club Collection in 2012.
I think they are great for displaying but not playing/bumping around or in water...
The Man of the Sea was one of my favorite Club Joes...
