Remember the guy who built this 1/4 scale Spitfire

Well I got chatting to him at the Aviation Open Day and he saw my Action Man display. He asked if I had any German troops and mentioned building a 1/6th scale Kubelwagen. He has been emailing me with updates on progress and today I picked it up from him. He has said I can borrow it for as long as I want. He also made a 1/6th scale road signpost.

The wheels he bought in but the rest looks like it's made entirely from wood and weighs quite a bit.
It still needs extras such as steering wheel headlamps and perhaps some kit strapped to it. So I sahll be sourcing suitable material to enhance it.

To say I'm chuffed is an understatement. He told me today he's contemplating making some 1/6th Nissen Huts if he can source some corrugated material that he can bend to shape.

that is an excellent vehicle cappy, especially considering its all made from wood !! it looks amazing, are you going to add the finishing touches yourself ??
