Well,it has happened once again.....I go and pick up another Jeep just for parts and get another diamond in the rough.... I paid $38.00 for this one...missing steering wheel and shaft,spare tire....7000 Jeep NICE PICKUP 010The Jeep is in NICE shape and the trailer is almost mint...Both tail lights too..... 7000 Jeep NICE PICKUP 0027000 Jeep NICE PICKUP 6uyC67_6whV-sXVOko64l8zfNbCzAgAr6herlWXk3g=w877-h503-no..I popped open the hood and It'a a Moto Rev version !! And it all works!! Nice Jeep!  Nice price!  The battery compartment is nice and clean.

It almost sounds like you're complaining that it's in such good shape!  lol! 

Like I said in Charlotte's "favorite vehicle" thread (at The Trenches) the Jeep is my favorite.  Congrats on a great find.

Thanks Guys!1 Yes Doug,sounds like I'm whining LOL...I'm going to have to wait for a true beater for another windshield....This is what i came up with for a Moto rev gong....I took the original gong hub and drilled the top....used some 16 gauge wire for arms and some rubber for the ends...works great...I may still pick up a repro that looks better...Walt7000 Jeep NICE PICKUP 004

Probably a silly question Walt but was dies the motor rev do? Is it an engine sound effect? And if so does it works from records like the action man field radio?

Not a silly question at all Mark...When you push the shifter forward,It completes the contact that drives the Moto Rev Motor...It makes contact with the flexible fiber plate just to make a motor sound...Not as complex as the Vintage Action Man Radio's they are VERY Complex!! cheers Walter
