Meet Frankie

Meet Frankie my resurrected childhood figure, minus the head. He's called Frankie because he is my Frankenstein's monster. He is my first attempt at rebuilding a VAM figure. Only the main body, elbows and his right thigh are original, every other joint or limb was cracked or broken so had to be replaced. He's still is on original elastic though...for now... 

He is now a mixup of various VAM and Cots body parts. I've added the lower legs from a Cots body, because they have nice stiff joints and flat feet which helps him stand and pose pretty well. I've changed the head to give him a nice rugged look that matches the body (thanks Brian). The Cots grippers are there so that he can hold a gun properly...no more spending ten minutes trying to get him to hold a gun only for it to fall off once you walk away... 

Frankie is clearly a poser and fancies himself as a bit of a Greek god; especially as he is about 1/4 inch taller now due to the addition of the Cots lower legs...and yeah, he has the beard thing going on also. We caught him posing by the window today in the morning sun, just so all the neighbours could catch a glimpse... 

He doesn't have any outfits yet...any suggestions as to what would look good on him? I've tried the uniform sets I have and they just don't look right for some reason. Also, as his legs are longer Action Man trousers are a bit short!

Beardy vams always look good in some kind of basic adventuring gear.. a rugged polo neck sweater (any colour) , jeans, backpack, and a pair of short boots (any colour). Other ideal accessories include a map, scarf and canteen, for those warming shots of whisky whilst he out rambling on the moors

Only bad thing about shorts and short sleeved shirts is the rivets are
exposed..

The outfit is Very outdoors and Trapper looking, he looks like a serious Sasquatch hunter now, Cool!!!

That's the first time I've seen that polar jacket used in a Stormtrooper bash, I must admit it does look good

The guys on Sandbox suggested that it could be an oil can for the rifle; what do you think?

Yes! An oil can for his rifle, or a small rifle grenade
