I picked that helmet up in a VAM RAF fighter pilot lot, its not sanded down or anything, blue inside, and says Hasbro Hong Kong, it is a mystery, which I cannot work out. I have posted it on other sites and no- one knows where it comes from. Also the shirt is blue, AM bullet label, light blue buttons, with blue stiches, and press studs. Tie came with them, it is a proper real tie. I spotted the helmet, that's why i brought the lot. Uniform is mint, straight off the card.

The shirt can be explained as 1st issue action sailor shirt, but the helmet and tie, no idea.

The helmet has been sanded down with lower and lower grade wet and dry to take on that lovely smooth finish. Yes, looking at it closely, that seems bang on. Who ever did it, did a wonderful job, the colour is spot on. If there is rush on British helmets on eBay we know why.

never seen this before, a sticker over the locker box, not sure why or what would below it

Thanks. Just realised, this uniform card came with or without helmet netting, in Alan Hall's book shows sticker where netting was printed but covered up, so this was a later version, with complete sticker for cards without netting.

Painful!! This collection of boxed/carded is only small compared to some. you get one, want the next. When you miss one, it hurts!!! lol. It is for my wife to sell, when I die, she is Filipino, does not understand it at all. I bore her to death!!!

If I'm still alive maybe I'll buy the field commander off her for £6.35. Another great upload.
