Putting together the 'Tommies' I will be using in my Diorama. I've used Palitoy Jackets and trousers, stripped the colour out of them and then dyed them using Dylon dark brown. Puttees are from the DiD figure however I will be using ordinary brown tape bought from a haberdasher. Boots are the standard ones from Palitoy used with the Para/ Grenadier etc. I will be using Palitoy helmets sanded down but got this one off eBay, along with the balaclava. Lee Enfield May be incorrect for the era but I bought a load of different types. I'm not going for historical accuracy just what I can put together with stuff I have or can buy.

He looks very nice! The SMLE looks fine. I know the BBi version that came with their WWII Australian is considered the best one; but the DML and 21st versions can look the part as well.
