| Thanks very much for your kind comments, gentlemen, and sorry it has taken me so terribly long to follow up. Yes, Captain Action, the chap in the armoured car here actually is a reproduction of the old Hasbro "Foreign Soldiers" figure--in this case, a talker made for the 2003 G.I. Joe Collectors' Club convention Kursk set. I like the uniform and headsculpt just fine, but sad to say, the figure itself is a shoddy piece of work. I've had two of them, and in both cases, the cord jams on the very first attempt to make him talk, no matter how gentle and careful one may be. | |

Yes the cord pull mechanism is junk. All of mine have met the same non retracting fate. However since these are electronic voice boxes, I have resorted to shortening the string. With a short tug it works fine. Richard | |
