| In 2008, our local dollar store carried a series of bootleg Maxes around Christmas time. It was called the Real Heroes Action Force. It included Mattel accessories and half of the heads were MS repaints, complete with a Mattel nape stamp. Other heads were copies of MAM and Lanard's Ultracorps figures, but made to fit a Max-type neck. I collected three of these for their heads, clothes & accessories, adding them to genuine MS bodies. I don't have photos of my hybrids, yet, but below is an example of a figure, as purchased. More on Flickr...

| Very interesting figures liking the uniform in those slightly dulled tones, the gold hair is good it sort of reminds me of my sillver haired custom Max although it's a very unusual choice | |

| Very nice,
It's the first time i've seen this version of Max Steel. By the look of the figure's left wristband, it appears the body is also from the original Max Steel tools? _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation:

The bootleg body has the same dimensions, but a different left arm. It is clear with internal LEDs and the figure is a talker.

| I like that figure! Never seen any bookleg Max figures anywhere, but I'll have to keep an eye out. Actually looks good quality for a knock-off! _________________ | |

The bootleg body has the same dimensions, but a different left arm. It is clear with internal LEDs and the figure is a talker. Sounds great! It's always intresting to see what's available in the U.S. Thanks for the intel _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation:
