I don't have this (I have no GI Joes) but I want to make a replica using VAM items.

Having done some googling I cannot figure out if it should have a white or brown rifle, I have seen images with both.

Has anyone a definitive answer which it should be , or did it come with either?

Because there are two versions.

The Standard version, released like all the other Joe SOTW, and a special Sears "Gift Set." Gift set has the white M-1.
