WWII Staff Officers

Often derided for being "in the rear with the gear"; I've always been fascinated by the workings of military staffs. As a result, I bashed some American staff officers to advise the combat troops.

Here we have a Lieutenant, USAAF Captain, Colonel and Brigadier General.

I like this type of 'bash too if for nothing more than displaying uniforms you don't usually see in the field.

I especially like the trench coat. Is that Hasbro?

Thanks for the kind words! The trench coat is from the Unknown Soldier Action figure that came out some years back. Also came in a black version. Sold the fig but kept the trench coat. He came with a very nice pin-striped suit as well.

nate in the less well lit pics the brigadier makes me think of charles bronson in the dirty dozen , but its not him is it

It's a Power Team figure; but he does bear a resemblance to Bronson. Better than the DML fig, IMHO.
