Lanards SKIDOO aka Snow mobile

Well Lanard ULTRA CORPS may be hit n miss with stuff, however one of their pieces I love is their Skidoo's.

They released in various colours (Yellow, White, Green and of course white and black/grey camo are the ones i am aware of).

The tracks and wheels go round and the skis are mounted on pivots for terrain. It looks like they did plan to have some sort of electronic feature But did not pursue it. However the empty battery compartment (on the underbody) is still there and accessible.

of course not quite 1/6th scale but works well with the figures.

These unless second hand came with a figure in winter style clothing, usually colour matching Skidoo colour. Also Motocycle type helmets came with these sets.

Figures used in all photos are NOT Lanard but uniforms are.

I've been a fan of the Lanard figures for quite some time now, especially the early issued ones that came with thick-fabric uniforms, they are of high quality. I just wish Lanard would go back to producing more of them again, they're a cheaper alternative to the the modern Joes, and easily on a par with them quality wise.

The grey/white/black camo really does work in the snow. The Lanard  Skidoo has been on my 'would like' list for a while now, i'm always looking out for them at car boot sales. I like what you've done with a custom camo helmet cover, the small unit patches really add to the uniform, it looks good! The outdoor action shots are great! It looks like you had some fun setting them up

Wholeheartedly agree with you on Lanard coming back and pleasing us all LOL Though same could be said for ULTIMATE SOLDIER (shame the resurrected company is not touching 1/6th).

Sadly I cannot recall the last time at a car boot My old usual's have moved and No idea where to go now LOL

Thank You so much chaps. The arctic camo is my favourite one too. Plus that TWEED look is awesome with the thick material.
Maybe one day a small squad of them on Camo Skidoo's.
