| After posting my photos of Sgt Rock and Easy Company the other day, I was curious to see if I could recreate Rock in his more familiar, dishevelled comic strip style. Here is how he comes in the box (minus the belt, pistol and grenades which I added). Altogether too neat compared to the familiar depictions... And here he is after the makeover, looking a bit more like his comic book self as depicted on the box art. Incidentally that rather nice shirt was hidden under the field jacket... A bit more like the Sarge we know and love. | |

| Fantastic bash Jim! I must admit I scrolled down from the 'before' picture worried I'd see a figure wearing a ripped and shredded uniform in the 'after' pic but you're re-created the comic look brilliantly and with no damage to the clothes! Sgt 'After' is definitely how we'd have wanted him too look when we were kids. I did a Sgt Rock thread a while ago for anyone who missed it.. https://actionmanmobileops.forumotion.co.uk/t1556-sgt-rock-and-easy-company?highlight=sgt+rock_________________ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. | |

| Yes - I couldn't quite bring myself to shredding any of the clothing, particularly considering the price these sell for these days. | |

| Brilliant! I'm suprised at how close your alteration to the Joe makes it look to the box art. The open shirt, rolled up sleeves, dog tag showing and the unstrapped helmet, are all trademarks of most war comic heroes. We also see this in some war films, it kind of makes the hero look cocky and self confident. That's a quality Joe figure package, especially the uniform and accessories, they look on a par with DID and the likes Nice one, Jim! _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| All the original figure came with was a field jacket, shirt, pants, boots, dog tags, helmet and machine gun and one of those ammo strips.
The rest of the accessories are from Cotswold. I went for Dragon style accessories instead of Hasbro/Palitoy, as the Dreams and Visions GI Joe range went with this more realistic looking kit, rather than the GI Joe/Action Man style gear. | |
