WW2 German Paratrooper Fallschirmjager, Tropical Uniform Set

Here's my latest arrival, my Blonde Painted head VAM is wearing this WW2 German Fallschirmjager Paratrooper Officer in Tropical Dress from the North Africa theatre, the uniform is by Elete Brigade and has just arrived from Cotswold Collectables

And here wearing the Luftwaffe Commanders Officer Cap



And wearing the Standard Fallschirmjager field cap and carrying the FG-42 Machine Gun with retractable bipod and removable spike bayonet

Cheers Jay he's a Blonde painted VAM he had a bit of red pen on his face when I picked him up, I've tried the acne cream and got it this far and now more a red smudge, but I didn't go any further as the red was spreading more over his face than what the original felt pen mark had done

Very smart - I have been eyeing one of those outfits up as suitable attire for a leader for my 40th FJ

Cheers barney-leadhead yes it's a an excetlent bit of kit for the price, only trouble I got stung by the customs lot on the delivery as anything shipped into this country that is over £15 in value has to be charged VAT on it so I had my parcel stopped until I payed £4-35 VAT as well as a £8 handling charge from the post office for claiming the charge, so not very pleased with this set up

Yes Clive mate my thoughts exactly, I've been in touch with Cotswold about it and they said it's written into their small print that other charges may be incorporated from other countries customs, its a bit of a bummer when the VAT is charged for but also a handling fee, the reply I got was not all parcels are stopped and some get through, so it's the risk you have to take, but I'm sure there must be a better way to do this, i wonder how many other people get stuck with these charges I wouldn't mind paying the VAT up front, but when your parcel gets stopped and your forced to pay a fine before you can have your belongings, what is this country coming to Greeed shhhhh
