| Name,
JASON STEAD
Online name
STONEWALL
Location
MIDDLESBROUGH
First Vam/Joe/Mam or 1/6 figure ?
VAM HOUSEHOLD DIVISION GUARDSMAN & BASIC SOLDIER. FIRST BOUGHT MYSELF WAS A DAK AND SAS SEIGE. THINK OP NIMROD MADE THAT FIGURE TRULY SPECIAL TO US KIDS BACK THEN.
What was your favourite figure as a kid, and do you still own him?
BLONDE HAIR SAS SEIGE VAM. Alas NO.
Favourite figure now
MY CUSTOM COMMANDER ROGERS SUPER SOLDIER CUSTOM. BOUGHT DARL SOLDIER AKA DOOM FILM JOHN "REAPER" GRIMM.
Most desired item
UPCOMING RESIDENT EVIL NEMESIS RELEASE AND THE 2 DAM UNIVERSAL SOLDIER FIGURES. VAM WISE AN ADVENTURER. NEVER HAD HIM AS A CHILD. THOUGH MODERN KIT.
What will you do with your collection as you get older
ALWAYS PLAY WITH THEM! ALSO ADD TO THE FIGURES TO MAKE THEM BETTER. I BELIEVE NO BRAND TO DATE HAS EVER GAVE US SOMETHING 100% PERFECT.
What does your wife/girlfriend/partner think of your collection/hobby
MY WIFE LOVES TO SEE MY CREATIVE SIDE OF CUSTOM BUILDING. HATES THE SPACE THE BOXES TAKES UP MIND YOU. MY KIDS TOO LOVE SEEING WHAT DADDY HAS MADE. SOME WE PLAY TOGETHER WITH. ALSO MAKE UP FIGURES FROM SPARES FOR THEM TO KEEP TOO.
Do you set yourself a budget
TRY TOO, SOMETIMES IMPULSE PURCHASE KICKS IN.
Worst Vam/Joe/Mam or 1/6 figure
ATOM, INTRUDER, DR X, ALL THE POLITICAL CORRECT MAM.
Views on 40th reproductions
VAM OR GO HOME ONLY!! NO REPRO IN MY COLLECTION
Worst item of the Vam/Joe/Mam or 1/6 range
NOT A FAN OF THE MAM BODY. CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE STEP BACKWARDS WITH ARTICULATION.
Best thing about collecting Vam/Joe/Mam or 1/6 figures
NOSTALIGIA, VAM HEADS ARE AWESOME AND EVEN THOUGH ONE STYLE SCULPT. WITH CUSTOM WORK AND FLOCK CUSTOM WORK CAN BECOME ANYONE.
Do you think your collection will be collectible in the future
AS I TEND TO CUSTOMISE MORESO EACH FIGURE/VEHICLE, I DO NOT REALLY CARE ON THAT.
If you did not collect Vam/Joe/Mam what would you collect
I ALSO CUSTOMISE/COLLECT 1/18TH SCALE IN JOES, MICROMAN ETC. 1/12TH SCALE AND 1/1 PROP BUILD. DO NOT NEED MORE HOBBIES LOL
What AM/Joe outfit or set would you like to have seen released
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A RETURN TO AM FITTING RESPECT BY DOING THE REGIMENTS OF OUR ARMED FORCES. SAME COULD BE SAID FOR THE JOES (THINK THE YANKS HAD IT WORSE AS THEY NEVER TRULY DID AS MUCH RESPECT TO REGIMENTS AS VAM DID).
Do you have a/What is your favourite section of AMMO
CUSTOM SECTIONS. ANYONE CAN BUY. CREATIVITY IS THE KEY TO ENJOYMENT OVER A SHELF WARMER OR WORSE THE MIB HOARDER.
Why do you like AMMO
DAL HAS A GUN TO MY HEAD TO SAY "IT IS GREAT"! SERIOUSLY, SMASHING BUNCH OF PEOPLE. LAID BACK, NO EGOS, ENCOURAGEMENT NO MATTER THE MEMBERS DIRECTION. THAT IS KEY. PLUS SOME VERY INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE WITH IDEAS AND OF COURSE THEIR OWN CUSTOM WORK.
