| Do you have enough Adventurers Dal?? An outstanding collection! ...and James.. Love the recreation of the 1970 equipment manual. A brown eyed Joe and Hank. Where do you get all these cool brown eyes from? Never had an Adventurer myself as a kid. _________________ Life moves pretty fast. action man adventurers came in the specific box and attire of jumper and jean type trousers with white stitching , if it was a soldier it came boxed wearing the soldiers uniform beret jumper trousers boots and slr (FN) rifle or as a sailor in British sailor uniform and box there was also the helicopter pilot box and he had blue coveralls with orange stripe and orange scarf with scramble pilot type helmet then we had the uniform sets (all military apart from the mountaineer and artic adventurer and divers ) I believe that is because military toys in the U.S. at the time where unpopular because of Vietnam , in Britain we still had military toys THE MOST POPULAR being action man generally (unless production line error ) it was only the sailor and adventurer who was bearded , soldiers as in line with the army where clean shaven I believe we had the flock head first in 1970 | |

| I technically don't have an Action Man Adventurer, but I've outfitted a Joe Muscle Body to appear very similar to the Action Man and Geyperman Adventurers. I also have a GAJ Peggy as an adventuress! -Nate | |

| Just realised that I can contribute to this thread, just before the month ended! This is Tom K HQ's only and only complete Action Man adventurer, that looks 'authentic', so he'll have to do... _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? | A cool dude Ralph!
Shame the VAM adventurer didn't come with a shoulder holster like contemporary GI Joe adventurers. Was it penny pinching by Palitoy or did they think it didn't fit with the theme they were trying to convey?

Having been collecting mostly AT type figures and kitbashing them for a while now, for me the Action Man adventurer is missing the holster and pistol, so that is why I added it in. Maybe Palitoy were trying to steer away from carrying guns completely with that range, but any self respecting adventurer should be allowed carry a side-arm... bloody British nanny state gun laws... _________________ RalphMe?
