Got a figure from a car boot a couple of weeks ago with a car but wasn't sure what to do with him.  Then I remembered I had a bag of pieces from a Terminator figure from last year so I dug those out.

So, with a bit of hot water I popped his head and right hand off.  I drilled into the Terminator's hand and inserted a bolt, then cut the end off.  I'd made sure the bolt fitted the MAM's arm before I started drilling.

Hand fitted.

Next job, cut the neck down so I can drill a 10mm hole in the head and fit it on.

WOW Peter he looks dam scary and evil looking, very well kitbashed my friend. A leather jacket would look ARSOME on him, that's just my thinking though.

Wonderful work peterodgers! I hate those heads with moulded on masks, goggles, helmets or headsets! Your work has inspired me to try kitbashing them too.

For some reason that pic of MAM spread-legged in the vice brings tears to my eyes! Shocked Shocked Shocked

I often wonder what happened to this figure. It was sold at a car boot sale ages ago with a load of other figures. I think I saw one of the other figures (a Max Steel wearing a white shirt that I'd made) on Facebook a few months ago.

I really don't know how anyone could bear to part with one of their own creations,....particularly one as good as The Terminator!

I know what you mean, when it comes out great and knowing it's a one of a kind, the idea of parting could induce all my flock to fall out!!!!!!

I've got about 10 custom figures, Zargons, Atomics, VAMs with custom uniforms and paints... just couldn't do it!!! Evil or Very Mad affraid

PostSubject: Marching Orders, ...but for whom?   Ter-MAM-ator Icon_minitimeThu Jun 06, 2019 7:51 am

When I read here of members "down-sizing" their collections I have also pondered how they decide which are the ones to go?
I'll admit my troops are burgeoning somewhat now, but I really couldn't part with any of them, specially the ones I have changed in someway, which as you mention, makes them unique.

It wasn't by choice. I was ordered to downsize by my wife...

OUCH!
And you couldn't just go with putting some of your fellers away in a box for a while?
