| Cheers guys.
There is no engine. Unlike Cherilea, there is no vehicle at all in the action man range with an engine.
Cherilea launched a DUKW (they called it their amphibious jeep) which did have an engine. But, not all their DUKW's had the engine, only the later issues had the engine. The engine was attached to the rudder.

| By which token you'd have to exclude the Turbocopter and ALL the Helicopters from the Vehicles category too! |

Thanks for sharing the pictures - brought back a lot of memories!
I had the Sheridan tank and the staff car as a kid but I was ordered to give them to my cousin in my mid teens. _________________

| LOL!!!!!!! GREAT...from Wikipedia................ A vehicle (from Latin: vehiculum[1]) is a mobile machine that transports passengers or cargo. Most often, vehicles are manufactured, such as bicycles, cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, trains, ships, boats and aircraft.[2] Vehicles that do not travel on land often are called craft, such as watercraft, sailcraft, aircraft, hovercraft, and spacecraft. Land vehicles are classified broadly by what is used to apply steering and drive forces against the ground: wheeled, tracked, railed or skied. HA!!,it's all fun and games until someone looses an eye LOL Cheers Walter | |

I had the Sheridan tank and the staff car as a kid but I was ordered to give them to my cousin in my mid teens. I know the feeling. One day my nephew "borrowed" all of my own vintage stuff. I ended up with buying figures and vehicles all again and swapping it for my own stuff. Vehicles, ...

| Great collection , I would love to mechanise my troops but would cost me a fortune, they will have to stay footslogging grunts for awhile longer !!! maybe a couple of 1/6th donkeys to carry the gear like merrills marauders....... only mine would be called Morrison's marauders (my surname ) | |

Thanks mate. Actually it is more a coincidence. Initially I just wanted the willis jeep and Cherilea sheridan tank because that were the 2 vehicles I had as child. Most vehicles came in lots with the AM themselves. Now, I just like to see those vehicels in my collection. Lots of playing fun !!!

| It's been a while now , time for another update. This one just arrived. They are quite hard to get at this side of the channel. The handlebars are incomplete. So please, if anyone could help to complete : all help is welcome. Here it is, how do you like it ?

| Great Geert!! The handle bars on my childhood bike lasted about four hours before they broke :-(. Andy AK615 does a neat repair using copper pipe. Might be worth sending him a PM | |

| Cheers guys.
I was surprised to see that the evil cross is shown correct on the decals. Usually it is showed in mirror image (buckle of belts,...).
I have reproduced the handlebars with cupperwire before, but for this one I'd like to create the missing part with plastic and glue it on. I need to get grips as well ...
