I have a book on modern weapons that was published in the 1980s. One of the weapons that fascinated me was the SiG 510 battle rifle/lmg.

The 1979 Catalog on Plaidstallions showed that VAM had been issued with one of these; so I sought one out.The Action Man version came with both a standard scope; as well as an infrared mount for night combat. Its bulky size made it a good pairing for the larger Geyperman figs.

Yes, it's from a Cots figure I got in a Japanese Toys R Us about 15 years ago.
