Starsky rides again!!

Joe has a new 'Starsky' cardigan..Suddenly it's 1976 again!       



I'm sure everyone remembers Joe's original.



Well despite still owning quite a bit of quality granny knit ware including Hank's woolly hat from 1974..



...I unfortunately seem to have somehow misplaced Joe's Cardigan. Well Richard (Reddragon) felt my pain and very kindly got his mum to knit Joe a new one!



How awesome is that??



So Joe and I would like to say a big thank you to Richard and his mum for doing such an amazing job. Poor old 'Mum' only had the old photos to work from and I hope the rumours that Richard made her knit several before he was happy she'd got it right aren't true!



Thanks once again Richard and Mum.

PS she couldn't have a go at knitting me a red Torino car could she Richard??

I didn't have one of those in the 70s, but my wife did... just saying...

This is one of many reasons why I have always stuck with this forum over lesser ones shall we say. The people that frequent here are so full of kind spirit.........The sarge being another fine example with his sidekick of course.
Doing that little bit for someone else to make their day is such a great thing to witness, it's rare!
We live in a world now of such chaos & general misery. It's all this blew up here or there. This costs this or bloody politics!!
No true examples, not from my perspective, of human kindness.
Then you log in to what is a simple idea born through passion.......An action man forum & bare witness to someones day being made in a simple & yet say it loud gesture. Thanks RD, Just logging in to see this post has made my day! This is why I bloody missed you & all concerned from my previous tour of duty here. Really pleased for you Steve.
