| Here is a comparison of the Cotswold "Elite Brigade" body (Fuzzy) and a Timeless Joe Body (PH). As you can see, the build/construction is very similar, but just different enough. And in case you can't spot the difference in body parts by eye, each part is marked either with "Cotswold China" or "CC China." They are held together by round black elastic cord, similar to VAM and Vintage GI Joe (and their reproductions). They have many headsculpts to choose from, this one is "Jake," their "GI Joe but not GI Joe" sculpt. Flocked with black hair and beard, below, white PH. Their "Classic" Hands, a bit wider than VAM in the grip it seems, but very nice, and a nice slender wrist that reminds me of late issue VAM. Their "Action Hands" can be a bit stiff, though I know of a set of hands where one has gone really soft and rubbery, not at all a bad thing. The back of Jake's head is marked at about the hairline, I don't know about any other sculpts. The Back of the torso, and the diamond on the back of the pelvis is marked. The other body parts are marked, but too faintly for pictures, the only body parts without markings, seemingly, are the feet, hip balls, and hands. Overall, they're really nicely constructed figures, and hold up well. I bought one for my fiancée's 7 year old brother's birthday, and it's been through the ringer. He's still in fine shape. One of the joints is a little loose, but I'm pretty sure it was like that when I got him, and Cotswold would have likely replaced it if I had the time.

| I've been handling a lot of figures lately, vintage, the various repros and such... Cots has produced such a fantastic body. Their last batch of stuff is really top notch. Probably the best Joe body around, with only the repro Geyperman as a contender. | |

| The Cots and Gearbox bodies are quite nice. The KFGs are copies of those used by the Takara Combat Joe line.

| I've updated this thread with pictures of a PH Jake, "Classic" hands, and some of the markings. Refer back to the first post. | |
