Dave :"I think so mate, we just need the call from McCloud & Fraser"
Alf:" Gor blimey Dave I couldn't half murder some Fish & Chips !- Where are they ?

Corporals Fraser and McCloud observe the Training Squad from their observation point.



CF: "so what do you reckon Jack? Seen enough ? Would you let them have  an Action Soldier Blue beret ? "



CMc: "Aye Sam, they done good. Even that Powers put on a good Show .SJK will be amazed - his cousin Mike really hit the skids "

CF: " OK mate lets call Endex and get 'em back to Captain Morgan and Lt Gunn.
The sooner we do that we can get back to Lt Truebrit and the lads of 13 Platoon"





CF & CMcC: "Endex !!!"

The squad relax and chat to Fraser and McCloud.





CMc: "Take 10 men. Then we can get back to get you kitted out. "

Smudger Smith:" Blimey Corp- you put us through the mill. I'm still shaking from the clothes line on the assault course !"

CMc:" Ha lad - thats nothing ! don't you remember the Carrier bag for a parachute  missions ?? . Well done Tupper - you lead the squad well"

Alf: " Yeah I'm starving - any Fish n Chips back at base or have those Greystoke rotter's pinched them ?"

Mark inspects his 'atomic' hand.( What was that all about !!)




Mark: "This grippers about shot Corp."
CF: " Get Gunner 1.0 onto that Power. You did well by the way . I'm recommending you for the MG"

Mark swells quietly with pride- The Power name spoken about with out laughs of derision !

Charlie Topbloke  shows Fraser Gunner 1.0's bodge job .



Charlie: " It came loose on the assault course and finally popped on the Stair climb Corp."

CF: "Well thats a Dragon Gripper-not a 40th replacement.  So Gunner 1.0 now knows you need a sleeve to fit it into your frorearm. I'll make sure I call that in "

The lads kit up after a swig of water.



Tired but happy, the squad shoulder their packs, pick up their short barelled M1 Gerands ( any repair tips out there ?).



CF: "Right lads - the last leg- next its the kit issue !"


The Squad move off toward the FOB.

Corporal Fraser reflects that the Fuzz heads are a tough bunch. As an EE BP he marvels at the easy way they can replace broken body parts.




Next time :What will their kit be  ? The next phase of the Uniformity Project kicks in . Dragonian's beware! 2nd Bn D Coy 14 platoon are coming !

....this thread has been like the 1st half of Full Metal Jacket!

Fraser and McCloud have done a great job transforming a bunch of raw recruits into a battle ready platoon worthy of serving with the Munrovian military. (Although being all old VAM the recruits are bound to have seen some 'action' in the past!)

Be afraid you dastardly Dragonians, be very afraid!
