I'll second this. Keep the focus of the camera (set sharp) on the figure. If not, the background will distract from your VAM. Love both your figure and pics AY | |

Yes but this didn't work, I think, for the one where he's wading in the swamp. With the swamp in focus, he's out, but we can still see Georgie and recognize him as Georgie. With Georgie in focus, it's much more difficult to tell exactly what's behind him. You'd be guessing. Here's one where I tried it with him in Focus. I didn't like it as well as I did with him out of focus, so I left it out of the set. From an artistic standpoint, I think that having him out of focus makes it a stronger picture. Why? Don't know. Just a gut feeling. | |
