Well yes, I too think the blue looks great Jim! Was this one in the photo yours at some stage?
No I got that photo off the internet LeStryge....Sadly people want to much for space capsules these days...But someday if I find the right deal for the Space capsule with the blue interior I might pull the trigger... 7 years ago or so when I got the space capsule I have now with beige interior I only paid $100 for capsule and a nice fuzzy blonde haired Gijoe astronaut... NOW they want a mint just for a good capsule...
Well of course G.I.Joe is now well and truly "vintage" and having been a child's plaything, there are less and less really good examples left now. Kids tended to be hard on toys, especially one that was designed to be "out-in-the-rough" so to speak. And there are many collectors very eager to buy, hence some of those huge prices. Of course you do see some ridiculously astronomical examples, and you have to wonder if they ever sell. I have actually followed a couple of space capsules on eBay, but the shipping now is so exorbitant as to make the deal prohibitive.

Wow I guess things have gone up. I paid $30 for this one a number of years ago intending to paint it yellow. It isn't in the best condition but really not too bad. I think part of the belt harness may be missing and the buckle was a little rusty. I never did paint it.

Nice. I like the look of the Joes without too many accessories cluttering the scenes. Accessories are fine, but sometimes there are just too many of them in a scene detracting from the the Joes. Until this thread I never knew there were multiple issues of the space capsule with different color interiors. Interesting. Never gave it a second thought and don't know if I much care. I never was a big fan of the astronauts and space vehicles although I AM a fan of sci-fi books and movies. I think I have one space capsule, (FAO Schwarz,) and maybe three astronauts.

I bought that camo outfit at a place called Cotswold years ago Chip ...
I used to buy Cotswold stuff occasionally many moons ago , now typically of late shipping makes it not really worth while , as we can see from your uniform they done some excellent items .
