| Who didn't covet these little guys you saw advertised on the back of comics? And only $1.50? Although when you read the size of that footlocker you realise the figures must have been REALLY tiny if 100 of them fitted into it. Like all of these "offers", our childhood expectations were always shattered by the reality of what arrived. I had the larger ones, (invariably army green) and have noticed that they are still available in some toy shops! Even VAM/MAM didn't achieve that kind of longevity.  _________________ | |

Yes, and I was one of them who talked their mother into buying this set and boy was I ever disappointed.  Tiny brittle flat plastic figures and the riflemen were as big as the tanks... and the box was crushed... | |

| The ad is from an issue of Bongo comic's 'Radioactive man'  They are a spot-on parody of the superhero comics of the 60's and 70's.
