New action man range

This is not a joke or rip off..
These are the “kids “ range of action man with the big boys stuff to follow

They look, like we need a closer look. I'm glad they're doing something for the kids, should be a foot in the door for a new generation of collectors, even if they are a little remedial by VAM standards.

It was said they are a no frills figure, well a no frills figure is a naked action man!, not this ken doll look a like! I have also read quoates from other defending the stiff hands and safety laws, I am sorry but this is just a sorry excuse to pass off this k/o under the action man name!  will say it again, if they wanted a no frills brand, an affordable figure, then it should have been a naked figure, MADE CORRECTLY! A&S should be ashamed, and so should anyone else associated with this crap!

Rohan my little boy who is now 9, has grown up with Vintage Action Man from playing with the originals at my Grandparents house, and I doubt he'd give these a second look, other than to maybe steal the shirts off their back to put onto a VAM.

It must be the first of April already!

These are supposedly aimed at youngsters. 45 years ago as an 8 year old i would have rejected these as cheap knock offs.
The kids today are a thousand times more sophisticated ....this was obviously a way to make a quick buck, but I think it's going to fail terribly.

Well, the sculpt looks competent. It would look better with a different paint application, but that is easily done.

As I said the other night the 50th had dodgy balls, by the looks, these guys have no balls! . It is just a scandalous way to rip off collecters, I really hope that these particular figures are left on the shelf! Awful!

Today's kids don't buy rubbish like this. If they did Hasbro would still be producing MAM. Whats so hard to understand about that??

Could put the head on a Cots body. If the CAM body is crap, Cots would improve it.

They look like they were sculpted by a 5 year old......but apart from that the bodies look useless..the hands are awful and the legs look like they have no articulation...so 15 quid for a naff head to transplant ?!? ...i don't think so

As I said in my twopence worth on HQ, the box, kit and tags I don't mind as a simplified updated representation for younger children as a gateway to collecting.
You know what really kills these for me is the weird short arm to leg ratio and minuscule hands on the figure.
Many of you are saying the same thing.

Even for today's more sophisticated children, why not a figure with more realistic proportions?
Chris, you're right. I wouldn't personally spend 15 quid on these either just to modify them.

If I got one or two for next to nothing... I'd Frankenstein the buggers though !!!!!!

Hi, I really like the heads. I am eager to transplant them to better boddies and do my VAM bashes.
You guys mentioned these photos came from "hq", I have been looking for the source AND where you saw them for pre-order. Help?

my 5cents:
I may be wrong (and I truly hope I am), but everything here screams "prototype". The head job (resine and painted), the body (took from another 12" figure with similar neck connector), even the beret is based on 21century's ultimate soldier cast.
