| Good afternoon Gentlemen.
Firstly a big shout out to Mark (Wolf_Soldier64) for the kind donation of the final Green Beret - beret I required to finish this set.
This is my take on the 1966 Sears Exclusive G.I. Joe Machine Gun Outpost Set. Why pay $1500 for an original when everything bar the box is readily available!
The new 2018 G.I. Joe Conventions Sets are also fetching silly money, $450 to $500 !
Everything here in my set is vintage bar the box (obviously!) fatigues, foliage (both 40th Joe issue) & beret flashes.
It took me a while to source the right box unmarked with similar dimensions, this box is perfect.
The Joe sandbags are difficult to source in the UK & shipping cost from the U.S. is criminal, so if you have any spares please get in touch! Trade or cash.
Both figures are vintage 64 painted hair Joes, not my best but good enough for this project.
The original box artwork is easily available on Google, I put it through Photoshop to tidy & brighten it up.
