Zeppelin Pilots

Another couple of outfits I picked up from eagleeyesactionstation on my last visit with Steve a couple of weeks ago.

The jumpsuit belt scarf and Luftwaffe pilot hat all come as part of the set. I've only added some Geyper boots so far but will be adding goggles and probably a pistol.

They also remind me of something from one of those seriels from the 30's, maybe Buck Rogers? I have thought of adding something like a ray gun instead, what do you guys think?

Terrific bashes Richard. The goggles and ray guns sound just the ticket to finish off the bashes!

Very cool sets, Richard, definitely a 30's sci-fi serial vibe, or steampunk. I like them as Zeppelin pilots too. Ever seen that old Howard Hughes film Hell's Angels? The Zeppelin scenes from that film are some of the eeriest scenes.

These suits immediately reminded me of the old 1930's Flash Gordon space drama serial with Larry 'Buster' Crabbe.

Finally received the last few bits I needed to complete these guys this week!

I decided to swap out the EE figures, I managed to pick up some loose GI Joe Sgt. Rock figures a couple of months ago and have used Bulldozer and Little Sure Shot for these retro Sci Fi bashes.

I used black Luftwaffe pilot hats instead of the tan ones, some silver rimmed goggles, buckle top boots, very cool retro blasters all from Cots and finally a couple of Captain Action communicators attached to the belts.

I’m really liking the poses you’v put your retro Sci Fi pilots in.

Too cool for words! Now I want all of my action figures to have outfits like this. All of them!

I think I definitely had the Larry Buster Crabbe Buck Rogers serial in the back of my mind when putting these together.

Maybe a Killer Kane type bash next.....
