nicely paced with just the right amount of tension.

COVER: We know that Dannii is a mean hand with an edged weapon, but it looks like now she really means business! The title of Episode 8 is "The Escape," but who will escape? The good guys, or the bad guys? Let's find out!

P129 - Nice use of the stone walls to create an interior set.

Yeah, X and his cronies should know better than to conduct business in a public location like the AMMO Arms.

p130 - Oh, fun! Let's drag Captain Bludd in to this! And here Alex was saying on 'chat' recently that he has not participated in any "crossover" stories!

p131 - X ain't messin' around no more!

p132 - "Of course not, my dear! I will not kill you! I'll leave that little task to Mr. Wolff, here!"

p133 - Does Jayden carry one of those suicide pills? Of course, she was abducted during "off hours," so she might not be as well equipped as she is during her day shift.

p134 - And a not so veiled hint: I expect the same from YOU, Mr. Wolff!

p135 - As I suspected: have Wolff do the dirty work!

Are we about to find out who Conner is and what he is up to?

p136 - Oh ho ho ho ho! I see what you are setting up here! Clever!

p137 - X appears to be quite genuinely pleased! This must be a significant little slice of silicon!

p138 - Jayden suspected what would happen. She knows this is her last chance. Instead of waiting for an ideal opportunity, she had to act!

p139 - So Wolff is not armed while escorting a known dangerous enemy agent to her cell? Or did the kick dislodge his weapon? Anyway, he seems reasonably capable in hand to hand combat. Sufficiently proficient to beat up a mere girl... or so he hopes!

p140 - Nice flip and chop!

p141 - So that's what he had in his pants! He didn't have time to draw that massive revolver! Sometimes smaller is better, pal! Despite what the ladies tell you!

p142 - Wandering for hours? Has X noticed that Jayden has gone missing? Did Wolff ever wake up? Is Wolff looking for her himself, and is he afraid to tell X that Jayden beat him up... again?

A spy in the BAM-HQ ranks? Well, considering how loose Jake is with security clearances - I mean, Redbox has free run of the place - that's really not much of a surprise.

p143 - Suspicious type, isn't she? And she has to get some snark in.

Nice throwback to the beginning of the story, when Dannii was telling Carlos to stay focussed.

p144 - Be careful with those trigger fingers, there, guys!

p145 - Uh... yeah! I'd say run, don't walk, to the nearest exit!

p146 - Gushy romance stuff!

p147- I'd be thinkin' let's go before a hundred of X's henchmen surround us!

p148 - Why is Carlos hanging back? Must be a reason!

p149 - That's right, Dannii is ace pilot as well as ace tracker.

p150 - Does Carlos really run that slowly? Is a "cool saunter" the best he can manage? Or does he have something in mind?

p151 - Action packed sequence! I like Jayden's "covering fire" pose on the landing skid. Looks really cool!

p152 - Well... they got the copter in, so in theory it should be able to get out... right?

p153 - Not even back yet and The Boss is demanding a full report! Probably wants Dannii to promise to keep quiet about the stolen helicopter.

Wait... whaaat? Is that the end? Of this installment, or the entire story arc? It doesn't say THE END! I'm confused!

First off I just loved reading chapter eight. Hey your No Face was bragging to my Captain Bludd in the ammo arms that night tehe. My Captain Bludd was mentioned. I hope Mr Wolf dose manage to look into her clams because my Captain Bludd could make another appearance . Mmmmm I wonder who the spy who was within the simon network is.

Omg, I can’t believe Dr. X ACTUALLY said thank you to Conner. I thought Dr. X didn’t know those two words thank you .
