Nicely composed and visualized! The new throne - or is it a New Era throne - looks good, as does the Pharaoh figure itself! Love those shoes!

As Chip notes, the image seems to convey a darkly mysterious story. You've effectively captured the "mystique" of ancient Egypt here!

Yes, the new throne arrived and I wanted to show it so composed the picture.
I like it a lot better than the one that came with the figure and the scale seems OK too.

The new headsculpt makes the figure far more usable.
Found the snake basket at a charity shop and thought it might fit into some scenario.

Here you go Chip! Went with a bald head because the ancient Egyptians usually shaved their heads very closely. Not a lot of choice in bald headsculpts I must say.

I will probably do a little more work on the eye-makeup.
Did this quickly with just a fine point black texta, but feel I can make it better.
You can also see the kitbashed headdress after I removed the mask so it can be worn as intended. And yes I bought ANOTHER one, so still have the full version should I ever need it. Bought the "black" one as I had the white version. It's a little darker in colour but closer to the real one.
Money...money, ...money!!! 
I also made his new necklace with the turquoise beads. On it hangs a real gold little cartouche containing his real name Nebkheperure . It's a souvenir I bought in Egypt. 
At last I've found a use for it!

You actually trimmed the face mask out of the headdress! That was a bold move! You have a steady hand! The final result looks fantastic!

Same about using a permanent marker to create the eye makeup on the head sculpt? Fearless kitbashing!

The result is definitely worthwhile! And authentic... ish! At least he's wearing a genuine Egyptian medallion... of real gold!

Nice work with the turquoise beads! They really make the entire costume pop visually!

The head sculpt made the whole thing far more "alive", and those beads came courtesy of a massive necklace of about fifty strands of the things that I found in a charity shop. Perfect colour I thought.
I also thought I had an end secured when I cut one thread to get some beads. Now the damn things are everywhere! 

The mask wasn't all that difficult to remove, (in fact in the process of doing so I discovered that it was a separate piece and could almost be pulled out), however there was quite a bit of internal support structure that needed to be very carefully ground away with a Dremel so that the head sculpt would fit inside.
The little Egyptian pendant I was surprised I could even find! 
I knew I had in SOMEWHERE, (maybe?) but with a major house-shift having taken place in the interim, so much stuff being disposed of, and the resultant chaos, AND it being so tiny, quite frankly I'm amazed it turned up! 
I don't think Pharaoh will be parting with it now. 

I do seem to be going down the "story-telling" path with my pics of late, even though they be a single shot.
That's the thing about this hobby of ours.
You just never know where it will take you next.
For me at the moment, Dr. Evil is calling.......
