Baden Powell - Chief Scout

This is another figure made a LONG time ago in the days of film cameras and when I was a Scout Leader.



From Top to Bottom he has;
A Repainted VAM Mounties Campaign Hat.
Custom Made Shirt and Shorts.
Custom knitted socks (thanks Mum) which while bulky as hell do actually fill out the Frankenstein Boots nicely!  
The Staff is a piece of dowelling.
His belt was a bit of a cheat since I had no way of making a proper scout buckle I put on a Geyper Man Russian belt inside out and with the buckle at the back since it was about the right colour.
The Neckerchief is made from a triangle of green spinnaker cloth obtained from my parents sail loft it's very light and can be heat sealed so it won't fray. I was then wrapped around a length of Florists wire allowing it to be shaped around the neck and remain in place.
Finally the Woggle securing the Neckerchief is a small length of Brown Neutral wire from an old mains lead to look like leather and again hold it's shape.

This is another figure I am tempted to remake!

Dib, Dib!  Nice figure, he really looks the part!  Ingenious ideas on the woggle and neckerchief!

Hmmm.  Anyone done a kitbash of another famous scout - Bear Grylls?

It's the first time I've seen a uniform on a vam like this, it's a rare bash to see.

Seeing this evokes memories of my camping and outdoor adventuring when I was a cub

Excellent bash, well executed too. You should re-create this uniform again. I've a Steve Scout neckerchief somewhere, if it turns up you are welcome to it.

The other posted bashes were superb too.
