| I recently acquired a Scramble Pilot for my aviator ranks.  I was able to pick up a few odds and ends at a recent club meeting. As a result, I was able to put together the Fighting Yank equivalent, modeled by a Defender. The belt is Action Man and the short white boots are from another FY set. Defender ankles don't work well with tall boots.   Compared to the Real McCoy:   Fraternal twins to be sure. -Nate

| Very nice pilots!!! I've come to appreciate these Knock-off figures in my old age, but as a kid I was a purist. It was only Joe. It is nice to see the comparison of these two pilots and I have to admit FY is growing on me. He does have that 50's, 60's feel. Thanks, Brian  | |

| Both great looking figures! Interesting you chose a Green Marine/Soldier cap instead of the blue pilots cap... He looks good!

looks good! The reason he's wearing a green cap is because I don't have a blue cap yet! In reality, Air Force personnel wore the same greenuniforms and caps as the army in the 50s-70s. The garrison cover was blue though. -Nate | |
